Legacy Prep Post Grad is a comprehensive closed system that is a hybrid of college and the military experience. We are a basketball academy dedicated to placing every player we accept into our program into a better basketball situation.
We accomplish this by taking the approach of creating an environment that will cause the athlete to comply with the needed actions to gain the specific result of becoming a college student/athlete. Our daily programming consists of a rise time of 5:30am, a two mile run before breakfast, on the court for skills training and practice from 9-12pm, 12-1pm Lunch is served, 1:30-3:30 is Speed Strength Agility Training(SSA), 4:00-6:00pm Academic Period, 6:30-7:30 Dinner, 7:30-8:00pm is journal time, 8:00-10:00 study hall/social time and lights out at 10:30.
In our academic program Legacy Prep we are committed to further prepare our young men to excel as students while also meeting the demands of being an athlete. We understand that each student's academic experience can be unique. We develop an academic profile, to ensure that each student is on the best path forward toward college admittance and performance. The Legacy Prep will provide oversight, instruction and/or tutoring for courses provided by a third party. Our recommendation may include a combination of the following course work:
Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) assessment and preparation course should be completed to:
Increase SAT scores by 50 points or more.
Improve their academic profile, increasing their chances of being accepted to a wider range of colleges and universities.
College courses (not to exceed 6 credits) should be completed to:
Begin working toward acquiring a college degree.
Gain exposure to the style, rigor, and expectations of post-secondary learning and the discipline required to excel on the post secondary level.
Secondary courses to:
Complete outstanding courses required to receive a High School diploma.
Increase the core grade point average as defined by the National Collegiate Athletic Association Eligibility Center (NCAA-EC)
If your son is serious about playing college basketball and beyond, LPA is the answer.
